Completion of Our Hospital

Our primary goal is to complete our hospital, which will be transformed into aneye-specialty center. This facility will offer comprehensive eye care services, includingadvanced surgeries, routine check-ups, and the treatment of complex eye conditions.
Our four-storeyed hospital will be equipped with state-of-the-art technology, andspecialized teams of ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals will ensure that every patient receives the best possible care. Furthermore, we plan to establish an eye donation facility, where corneas will be carefully preserved for future transplants, givingthe gift of sight to those in need.

Promoting AYUSH and Naturopathy

In line with the Government of India’s guidelines, we aim to promote alternativehealthcare practices through the integration of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha,
Homeopathy) into our services. Additionally, we will establish wellness centers focusedon naturopathy, offering therapies such as magnetic therapy, physiotherapy,
hydrotherapy, meditation, and yoga. These centers will help people maintain their healthand well-being without over-reliance on medication, emphasizing preventive care.

Medical Sahayika Course

We are preparing to introduce a specialized training course for “Medical Sahayikas”(Patient Caregivers) in collaboration with qualified physicians and trained medical professionals. This program will provide job-oriented training, focusing on first aid, patient care, and the administration of medication. Graduates of this course will receivecertificates recognized by our board of trustees, empowering them to serve as qualifiedcaregivers in hospitals, homes, and communities. This initiative will address the growingdemand for trained caregivers, particularly for the elderly and those with chronicillnesses.

Geriatric Care

As part of our expansion, we plan to establish units dedicated to geriatric care andmental health well-being. Individuals who complete the Medical Sahayika course will betrained for another month to learn geriatric care. We will offer a comprehensiveunderstanding of how to support the elderly, addressing their physical, emotional, andpsychological needs. By providing compassionate care and psychological counseling,we aim to enhance the quality of life for our aging population and ensure that theyreceive the respect and care they deserve.

Opening Institutes for Health Education and Primary Care

SMILE is also committed to spreading health education to the most remote corners of
West Bengal and India. We plan to complete the construction of the BelghariaVivekananda Sevasadan Institute, where courses in community medical services andessential drugs (CMS & ED) will be offered. Our goal is to provide primary healthtraining, enabling individuals to become Jana Sashthya Sahayaks (Primary HealthAssistants) and bring essential medical services to underserved areas.
To promote AYUSH (Ayurveda, Unani , Siddha , Homeopathy) in line and in compliance of Government of India/State Government’s Guidelines and in this regard to contact various Companies/Banks/Concerned Government Departments.
To Promote Naturopathy (Magnetic therapy, Cardio and Neuro Massage, Physiotherapy, Hydrotherapy, Steam Bath , Meditation , Yoga therapy etc)
To open Unit of AYUSH, Naturopathy, Psychological Counselling , Mental Health for well being .
To open Wellness Centre for helping common people to remain well without medicines and for precautionary measures .
to Open a School /Institute in the name ofBelgharia Vivekananda Sevasadan for awarding Diploma in Community Medical services-Essential Drugs (CMS & ED) with proper permission as per IGNOU Admissions CMS ED Course and to introduce PRIMARY HEALTH SERVICES ‘ JANA SASTHYA SAHAYAK COURSE” SO THAT Primary Medical Assistance may reach to the remotest Corners in West Bengal as well as in India in consultation with the concerned Department with Permission and authorization.
To open/run an Institute /Training Centre for Theoretical and Practical Job Oriented Training for the AYA ( Medical Sahayika/ Patient’s Care giver training )Courses through the process of Practical learning by the qualified Physicians/Doctors/Trained Para Medical course Teachers/Mental Health Teachers based upon first aid and how to handle sick patients on various stages and how to serve medicines and other disposable and to take care of patients and to issue them COURSE COMPLETION Certificate for six months (Certificate Course or Diploma Course DECIDED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES ) Trust will issue Certificate after successful completion and passed with Min. 45% of Marks and the Certificate to be signed by the attending Doctors and designated member of the Board of Trustees . Qualification of the Candidate will be of MINIMUM “Xth” Standard and MAXIMUM “No BAR” and AGE “NO BAR” who can understand the required course subjects . Course will be designed accordingly in consultation with the Doctors/Physicians alongwith Board of Trustees of the TRUST.
